Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2 a.m., when we fall back to 1 a.m. and return to Standard Time. Employees working at that time will work one more hour than normal.
Now is the time to make any needed adjustments to timekeeping systems or issue reminders to employees. You must pay nonexempt employees for this additional hour of work, including any overtime earned under federal or applicable state law. You cannot offset this extra hour against Daylight Saving Time in the spring. As a reminder, Daylight Saving Time is not observed in Arizona and Hawaii.
