If you have not already completed and submitted your EEO-1 survey for 2014, this is your reminder. All private employers with 100 or more employees, and federal government contractors or first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees and contracts or subcontracts of $50,000 or more, must file EEO-1 surveys. The filing deadline is September 30.
On September 3, 2014, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced that it had completed mailing the 2014 EEO-1 survey notification letters. If you meet the criteria above or if you filed an EEO-1 survey in 2013 and did not receive a notification letter, you should call the EEO-1 Joint Reporting Committee at 866.286.6440 (toll-free) or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. And, you can access the 2014 EEO-1 Survey website for reference documents, including a sample form, instructions, Q&As, a fact sheet, and new EEO-1 Job Classification Guide.
MSEC’s Affirmative Action Planning Service is glad to assist you with questions about this process. Call 800.884.1328 or email email@example.com or access our FYI Recordkeeping: EEO-1 Reporting for more information.
